Dear Debaters,
This Sunday the 10th of December we will have our Annual General Meeting and
Pikkujoulu (little Christmas party). This is the time of year where we will
elect the new board and plan what the Debating Society should do next year.
After the meeting we will have our traditional debating Christmas party
which will begin with a backwards debate.
The 'serious' part, the AGM, will begin at 17:00 and hopefully only last
until 18:00, after which we will have our debate and the Christmas party.
Everything will take place in Aurora (where we usually have our debates).
The agenda for the AGM is as follows:
1. Election of Chair
2. Approval of the Agenda
3. Nomination of Candidates for the Board of 2007
4. Election of the Board of 2007
5. Discharge the outgoing Board of liability
6. Action Plan for 2007
7. UHDS as an official organisation in Finland (ry)
8. Misc.
As always if there is something I have forgotten please e-mail me asap, and
I'll add it to the Agenda.
For the Pikkujoulu it would be very nice if people would bring some
traditional Christmas treats. If you have something you would like to bring
please e-mail me so we can try to coordinate.
