Hello all, this email has two parts. Firstly to say that debating will be on this Tuesday, at 18.30 in the Aurora room. The topic can be found here and its a pet favourite of mine right now.
And secondly this is just to give sufficient notice that after the debate on May the 29th a special general meeting for the society will be held. The reason being that we have a board position to fill, after Gabe Mastico resigned from his position as Vice President for Internal matters. I would like to thank Gabe at this point for his hard work and invaluable contribution to the society during his whole time on the board. We will elect a new VP internal that night who will join the board until we have the full elections in November. Being on the board means you get to vote on, and help plan, what the society does, and you get to use our vast societal wealth to fund a lavish personal lifestyle (one of the above is, sadly, not true).
