Uxmal and Chichen Itza are near Merida, which is 1 and 3/4hr flight or 28hr bus jounrey from mexico city (~1500km). Planque (I assume you mean Palenque ) is nearish Villhermosa (1.5hr flight, 15hrs bus, ~900km). Getting as far as Chichen Itza in a week would mean travelling past an awful lot of good stuff. Including it in a 2-week tour would make sense, I think.
