Please note that this topic came up because Banja Luka has a smallish airport, with few international flights arriving to it. For Nicaragua, although it does not have that many routes, there _is_ a large and well-connected international airport, and from my experience, most travel search engines will give you good options to reach there, with a (usually short) layover at either Panamá, Costa Rica, El Salvador or Miami (depending on your origin). Of course, we will have other sources of stress next year.
