Quoth Christian PERRIER <[email protected]>: > This morning, my morning run brought me to Banj brdo. This place is a > hill in the south of Banja Luka, with a nice view over the city and > the surrounding hills.
Will you be running there again one morning? I've decided to run in the mornings rather than at 18:00 (due to the large lunches in the hotel) and this morning when I went for a short run at around 05:30 the temperature was perfect. Any time will do me, but my preference would be between 05:30 and 06:00. Sebastian -- As you grow older you become more silent. In your youth you're ready to pour yourself out to the world; you feel an intense fellowship with other people, you want to throw yourself in their arms and you feel that they will receive you; you want to open yourself to them so that they may take you, you want to penetrate into them; your life seems to overflow into the lives of others and become one with theirs as the waters of rivers become one in the sea. But gradually the power you felt doing this leaves you; a barrier rises up between you and your fellows and you realise that they're strangers to you. Then perhaps you place all your love, all your faculty of expansion on one person, making, as it were, a final effort to join your soul with his; with all your might you draw him to you, trying to know him and be known by him right down to the bottom of your heart. But little by little you find that it's all impossible, and however ardently you love him, however intimately you're connected with him, he's always a stranger to you. Not even the most devoted husband and wife know one another. Then you retire into yourself and in your silence build a world of your own which you keep from the eyes of every living soul, even from the person you love best, knowing he would not understand it.
