AFAICT there are two trains a day to Sarajevo. The nominal timings:

I have no idea how reliable these trains are overall, but I was on the
train from Sarajevo to Banja Luka on Saturday and it was 1h late.
Likewise the train from Budapest to Sarajevo on Thursday was also
around 1h late.
The fare from Sarajevo to Banja Luka was around 25-30KM.
