I'm not at the conference, but both my daughter and I have ASUS "Republic
Of Gaming" laptops. Two different models, hers is a few years older than
mine. They're really sturdy, the only issue is proprietary drivers (nvidia
+ broadcom wifi, and even nouveau does a good enough job for the video
these days).
