So, we've finally decided to change the venue. The new venue is the "Gran Hotel Dorá": http://www.hoteldora.com.ar/, a 4 star hotel.
In this hotel, we will have the hacklab, the talkrooms, lunch, dinner, and the 2 coffee-breaks. This hotel has capacity for approximately 250 people. So, 250 people will sleep and have breakfast in it. The rest of DebConf attendees will sleep and have breakfast in the "Hotel Astor", another 4 star hotel, which is 2 blocks away (between 3 and 5 minutes walk). The hotel gives us a price per person per day of ARS 130 (~ 40 USD). This includes bed (in either of the hotels), food, all the conf rooms and 2 coffe breaks. All in all, it's less than what we were going to spend in the previous venue, and we are giving better lodging, better food, and adding the 2 coffee breaks. It's a pity that some people will have to stay at another hotel, but this walk will be much shorter than the one in Edi from the hostels to Teviot (and no hills, either). And this Hotel really wants us to have the conference there, which will make for a very good atmosphere.
