If somebody has time, it would be even better to dedicate a page on the debconf10 website to provide info to potential sponsors. On previous years I remember seeing the "sponsors pack," a pdf with some information, but haven't seen it this year (it might be there somewhere, don't know.) We could probably take advantage of SPI's (and FFIS'?) non-profit status to encourage donations since they can be tax-deductible (that depends on each individual's or company's situation, I know, but we don't need to get to the details) and *mention it* on the announcement. (and making people promote the dc10 website wouldn't hurt either, potential sponsors may also consider website rankings.)
