They are actually worse than we thought last night, not better: http://wiki.debconf.org/wiki/DebConf10/Budget While working late last night, apparently I didn't multiply food costs by two, for two meals per day (even though the data files on my web server were correct). So, we are actually have a $48000 greater shortfall than we calculated earlier today. If meals costed $10/meal, we would be have a $17000 greater shortfall than we did now, AND attendee fees would be less. If we only did one meal per day, then we would be as bad as I said earlier, AND we would get fewer attendee fees since they'd be paying for fewer meals. As a quick check, 350 * 7 * (53+30) = 203350 which is more than the entire budget I said before. So, in summary, We (really) Need To Talk. - Richard -- | Richard Darst - rkd@ - boltzmann: up 313 days, 22:55 | http://rkd.zgib.net - pgp 0xBD356740 | "Ye shall know the truth and -- the truth shall make you free" _______________________________________________ Debconf-team mailing list [email protected] http://lists.debconf.org/mailman/listinfo/debconf-team
