Hmm... I discussed a bit this on the #debconf12-nicaragua channel. I *think* most of the target audience for this page won't like having changing elements animated/shuffled/changing on the page. The only ideas I could come up with (but, please keep in mind I'm far from a Web designer) are: a) Avoid long pages. If a page is over two screens long (just coming up with a random measurement, leogg would most probably tell us the right length), split it in two subpages. b) Add a button in the upper part of the page referring to the sponsors' part of the page (i.e. a <a href="#sponsors">) I really oppose having an animated sponsor-div. And I think it would decrease exposure for each of the individual sponsors. Also, having a separate webpage (as LCA does in http://linux.conf.au/sponsors/sponsors) reduces sponsors' visibility. _______________________________________________ Debconf-team mailing list [email protected] http://lists.debconf.org/mailman/listinfo/debconf-team
