In addition to the normal issues (people just forgetting to select the right options), this year we seem to have four different options Basic; no sponsored food or accommodation Basic; want sponsored accommodation Basic; want sponsored food Basic; want sponsored food and accommodation but also separate questions on accommodation Regular DebConf accommodation I will arrange my own accommodation and on food No dietary restrictions Vegetarian Vegan Other Not eating with the group It seems to me that putting the four options for "Basic" in the registration category was a bug -- the separate questions already give us this information, in a way that's consistent for people in registration categories other than "Basic". The immediate problem from this is that it's likely some attendees have put inconsistent information in the two places, e.g. asking for "Basic; want sponsored food and accommodation" but accidentally leaving "I will arrange my own accommodation" chosen. So two extra things may be needed, beyond the normal status messages: (a) Check for inconsistent choices, and warn the people in question; (b) Perhaps re-merge the four "basic" categories to avoid the problem recurring. -- Moray _______________________________________________ Debconf-team mailing list [email protected] http://lists.debconf.org/mailman/listinfo/debconf-team
