This is a very bad symptom of how bad things are in the team right now. This is not healthy and this is not the kind of team I'd like to work in. I envision a DebConf team where we all work together, we agree that the leaders we have are the leaders that we want to have and the leaders feel that the team supports them and everyone can take risks comfortably knowing that there's a team to back them up. This includes all leaders, the chairs, the leads from the larger teams and the leads from the smaller teams as well. > We didn’t remove you from coordination team! This is how your email felt with that *possibly* there. What was the intention of the new composition of the coordination team if not to give you the decision as to who can and who can't participate? What's the possibly for? > BTW I were also on coordination team, you called us once and only once, and > never told us that we were not useful. The "Global team meetings" that we had during 2015 were basically the coordination team meetings. Very geared towards DC15 as I didn't have enough bandwidth to do any more than that, but it did work as coordinating the separate teams (content, bursaries, registration, etc). > So I really don’t understand you. I want to have a serious open team discussion that leads to the team as a whole (and not the chairs behind close doors) deciding what changes we want to implement. Together. As a team. If the team decides that I'm not the best person to lead the coordination team, I'm perfectly happy to step aside and let someone else do it. If the chairs decide this without even explaining to me why, then I'm not going to go away quietly. -- Besos, Marga _______________________________________________ Debconf-team mailing list [email protected] http://lists.debconf.org/mailman/listinfo/debconf-team
