I'm receiving two copies of each email sent to debconf-announce
Looking at the headers of each, they are both from the debconf-announce subscription (not some other list) and both sent to the same recipient address [email protected] Is there some way that some email addresses could have been added to the list more than once? E.g. has somebody done a bulk subscription of addresses that appear in DebConf registration forms without de-duplicating those who were already subscribed? Here are header examples from the two copies of today's email: Received-SPF: None (no SPF record) identity=mailfrom; client-ip=2001:41b8:202:deb:6564:a62:52c3:4b72; helo=mailly.debian.org; [email protected]; [email protected] Received: from mailly.debian.org (mailly.debian.org [IPv6:2001:41b8:202:deb:6564:a62:52c3:4b72]) by mail1.trendhosting.net (Postfix) with ESMTPS id CFB94150A5 for <[email protected]>; Thu, 7 Jul 2016 11:11:10 +0100 (BST) Received-SPF: None (no SPF record) identity=mailfrom; client-ip=2001:1620:fd1:124::42; helo=smithers.debconf.org; [email protected]; [email protected] Received: from smithers.debconf.org (smithers.debconf.org [IPv6:2001:1620:fd1:124::42]) by mail1.trendhosting.net (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 09CF3150A5 for <[email protected]>; Thu, 7 Jul 2016 11:11:04 +0100 (BST) _______________________________________________ Debconf-team mailing list [email protected] http://lists.debconf.org/mailman/listinfo/debconf-team
