BTW, maybe you are already thinking about that, but I would suggest
back with the "Open Day" with talks about Free Software in general,
and talks in Spanish.
At least here in Brazil it was very nice open the opportunity to have
talks in portuguese to local audience and by the local speakers.
We discussed it briefly with the Local Team, and decided against having a
separate day as Open Day. Instead of it, we will have Spanish talks
throughout DebConf, so that if interested locals show up any day, there
will be some talks in Spanish.
