Hi Sebastien, This bug has been around for quite some time and it doesn’t look like it will be resolved upstream. I’d like to prepare a patch based on the following merge request: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/-/merge_requests/6354
Could you please let me know the appropriate person or place to submit this patch so it can be included in Ubuntu 24.04? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Debcrafters packages, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2066062 Title: Impossible to select item using keyboard if folder has only one item Status in Nautilus: Fix Released Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: If folder opened in Nautilus contains only one item (file or folder), it is impossible to select such item using a keyboard (arrow keys, without using mouse pointer). This is caused by a GTK4 bug, however I am reporting this as a Nautilus issue since it as far as I know affects only or mostly Nautilus. This is a big problem for visually impaired users. Please, consider backporting the upstream patch into Ubuntu 24.04 once it gets merged.
