I think I've hit the same bug while working on an opencryptoki version bump for questing.
I could successfully build the new version locally (without -proposed), but it failed when I did a test build in PPA, where I have -proposed enabled: https://launchpad.net/~fheimes/+archive/ubuntu/lp2116720/+build/31009089/+files/buildlog_ubuntu-questing-s390x.opencryptoki_3.25.0+dfsg-0ubuntu1_BUILDING.txt.gz Did another test build in PPA without -proposed (to double-check) and it worked: https://launchpad.net/~fheimes/+archive/ubuntu/lp2116720-default/+build/31009291/+files/buildlog_ubuntu-questing-s390x.opencryptoki_3.25.0+dfsg-0ubuntu1_BUILDING.txt.gz The suspicious lines in the build log are: " cp: cannot create symlink 'opencryptoki' to 'sbin': File exists (os error 17) dh_install: error: cp --reflink=auto -a debian/tmp " And this led my finding this bug.
