Status in gdm3 package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Status in gnome-session package in Ubuntu: Won't Fix Bug description: I restarted my machine today, and it was odd how long took to GDM appears. For some reason it seems it was in a crash loop. Normally after the boot it appears turning on my external display, and than appears the GDM. But this time it entered in a loop turning on and off my external display. I can say that because appears an OSD written "HDMI 2" when it turns on the display. I hope the logs can give you more details about it.
