Title:
  gnome-text-editor non-removable tabs

Status in gnome-text-editor package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
the app is having issues in managing session and tabs data. there are
persistent tabs in my gnome-text-editor app that I can't find a way to remove.
please refer to the Reddit post where I originally described this issue in

I'm really curious to know where the app stores session data, as I have tried
clearing all suspected directories and still the app remembers old session data.
