I don't know about support for the Sonnet accelerator, but you can find the DayStar TurboCache 040 cards on ebay and they are most definitely recognized by the Linux kernel. I'm not entirely sure whether any cache on the card is used or not though. I'm successfully using the DayStar cards in both a IIci and a IIvx.
