Hi, my file bootargs, which I used for installation is:
-s -k linux.bin -r root.bin root=/dev/ram load_ramdisk=1 video=keep nolangchooser where linux.bin and root.bin are stored to c:\Atari on my ATARI TT030. Now I want to boot first time from TOS the new installed Woody system. What is the syntax when I installed want to boot from root=/dev/sda3 ? Do I still need a ramdisk? Do I still need the option "nolangchooser"? What is the name of the kernel, i have to boot? Can you write down the syntax exactly? Thank you for help! How can I upgrade to kernel 2.4x? You do not need initrd, just make the boot parameters "root=/dev/sda3". If you want to try a 2.4 image go to http://people.debian.org/~holgate 2.2 is more stable though. Regards, Ross..
