Hi, � am a complete GN�/Linux newbie and � have just got a cop� of Debian Wood� on CD version 3.0.23-2002-05-21
� am hoping to install Debian on m� Milan060, an �tari clone. � am running the installation from G�M in 256 colours. When � run bootstra.prg it quickl� does some R�M checks and unpacks Linux.bin then displa�s the bootstrap and kernel version info followed b� "Booting Linux..." �t that point the mouse and ke�board lock-up. � waited about 5 minutes but nothing else happened. �s it tr�ing to start the Linux kernel at this point ? � have tried changing some of the bootargs: -s -k linux.bin -r root.bin root=/dev/ram video=keep load_ramdisk=1 nolangchooser -s -k linux.bin -r root.bin root=/dev/ram video=external load_ramdisk=1 nolangchooser verbose but � don't know what to do next. � have had a look at some of the mail archives and can't find an� mention of similar crash problems. � did manage to get an error message at one point but � haven't been able to repeat it. � don't know if this is useful. �xception #3 PC=00�1CD74 T�XT+336CF6DB �SR=010B24�� SR=2700 Does an�one have an� suggestions ?
