To "bless" a Mac system folder: Insert the system disk (if a floppy) or boot the system from a CD or floppy
Go to the disk with the system folder you need to bless open the system folder that you want to bless move the system file from the folder to somewhere else on the disk move the system file back into the system folder reboot (from the disk you were "blessing" Sometimes you need to do it a couple of times.
