may be problems with kernel configuration, those most be enabled when configuring the kernel. They must also be mounted so it could be a problem with /etc/fstab ot the installer. > umount /target/dev/proc/bus/usb: No such file or directory d-i should not not expect that on m68k.. but trying should not harm;) Richard
