Well... I think it's REALLY different protocols. =). I just installed GIFT a day ago, but didn't configured it successfully. Later I'll try, and those GIFT-authors are developing eMule plugin for this daemon... AmuleD and Mlonkey for are really cpu and mem consuming applications. So, I'll try to set up GIFT framework for successful P2Ping.
