Yeah, it seems we just gained some time. About one year so... Nevertheless, it would be good to receive some feedback on the mac kernel. There was an upload planned for tomorrow, if I knew the changes were ok, I would commit them. My mac is still busy building packages, maybe I can test it there during the weekend. Another mac related question, the machine was unresponsive yesterday, I had thousands of eth0 timed out messages. I assume if I could have reloaded the network driver, I could have avoided the reboot. Is there any reason why we can not have the network drivers as modules instead of built-in? The initrd does not work, it is a little more inconveniant since we have to have the modules installed, but that is no problem with the linux-image. Would there be any problem for the installation?
