I'll try to get to that soon.
As soon as d-i switches to 2.6.18 I guess? > > I downloaded the netinst CD image (debian-testing-m68k-netinst.iso) The > > installer scripts are in install/tools and for the amiga users there even > > .info files down to this directory. No, don't drop them, just change the kernel version. With 2.6.18 the graphic cards might still work, even though I doubt it. But maybe it encourages some amiga users to fix those kernel drivers? I know I want my PicassoIV to work some time, but I don't think I would get to look at it this year... > > For the mac, there exists no directory in the install folder, ie no Penguin > > boot loader, no bootargs, only the kernel image. Why is Penguin in contrib? Isn't it free software? At least it would be good to have a usable config for Penguin on the CD, I guess the options have changed a little since sarge. > > For the atari, nothing is on the image, but I hope atari will be included in > > RC2, at least bootstr.app and a bootargs should be provided. I still have my doubts about the video option, but the other options seem to be ok/working/needed. But I need to check with a 2.4.30 kernel, still setting up my new desktop, no crossbuilt kernels yet. > Do you have all of Michael's patches in the debian kernels? I think so, at least a previous version of that kernel worked fine on my Falcon, ie with EtherNEC. Until I managed to destroy my partition table... in TOS.
