If they would have been in the linx-m68k CVS, they would be in the kernel images now. I don't think I will have time this year to add any more m68k patches, so if somebody else wants to test and commit them to the debian linux-2.6 svn, go ahead. But I am pretty sure you can boot the installer with a custom kernel instead of what is on the CDs.
