rebuild. Just need to convince buildd to not listen to the nonexisting
wanna-build for the uploads.

I think I've done that before. Must've been on washi ... basically, just
fake the wanna-build call (use /bin/true instead) and ignore the return
status from whatever tests for wanna-build output.
I'll post a patch when I've reproduced that ...
