I haven't tried gcc-4.1 + nfcon, nfblock. gcc-4.1 without nfcon, nfblock works fine.Does it crash just when booting, or when using nfcon/nfblock? Mine boots fine. I'm using a (cross)gcc version 4.1.2 20061115 (prerelease) (Debian 4.1.1-21)
It does crash in userland, after booting to runlevel 2 (IIRC). Double bus fault, no panic message.
