Not sure what kernel you are using, but GRUB isn't supported on m68k, so if you
are
seeing GRUB it means you are not booting an m68k system.
You can try following this guide [1] which explains how to install Debian/m68k
inside
QEMU. You can skip the first part which explains how to build QEMU from source.
If you don't want to extract the kernel image and initrd from the ISO image,
you can
download this tarball [2] and extract kernel and initrd (for CD-ROM) from there.
