Hello, What is the status of the Gnopernicus packet for Debian?
I can't find it anywhere. I have searched for it in 'stable', 'unstable" and in "testing". Has it been removed from the packet lists? As fare I know Gnopernicus is the only Screen Reader for Gnome for which exist a packet for Debian. Unfortunately there seem to serious problems with Orca on Debian. Roman, the developer of the screen reader SpeakUp has tried to install Orca on a Debian system however with not much success. Unfortunately I'm a newby to Linux so that I don't have the knowledge to help to sort out the Problems with Orca. By the way if someone would like to see what Orca is like one can down load the newest daily build of Ubuntu 6.10 here http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/. Ubuntu 6.10 including Orca. If someone is using a Braille Display and like to test Ubuntu one can ask me for halp to set up Orca to use BRLTTY. I worked it out how to do it.
