Hi.
As some of you might know already, Debian has a opt-in
system to determine package popularity[1].
Below is an excerpt of todays popcon data (by_inst.gz) filtered
for all the accessibility related packages. I am sure I have
missed some, so let me know if your favourite package is missing.
Also note that some (actually, many) of the packages in the list
below are infrastructure software that the typical user does
not install directly, but which is pulled in by some
other packages as a dependency.
Some of the packages listed are very new, some of them are only
available in sid (unstable) currently, so their install
count is obviously not representative for the software popularity.
I.e., all of this is to be taken with a lot of salt.
But the data is still interesting. If you are using some sort
of accessibility software on Debian, take this mail as a reminder
to maybe consider installing package `popularity-contest'
if you haven't done so yet.
Rank has not been reordered, so it represents the overall ranking
related to all other (not shown) packages.
