Hello,
I'm installing Debian on a workstation. I entered speakup.synth=dectlk
at the prompt, and now I have a text screen but no speech output.
1. Is dectlk the correct code for a new Dectalk USB?
2. Since serial ports are uncommon these days, could there be some
problem communicating with the serial port?
I am installing debian-6.0.0-amd64-netinst.
Thanks for any ideas!
