Good idea.
I didn't know if those would dd fine.
Online it only talks about the cds and dvds and dd.
I am installing from USB, I'll just need a bigger USB drive for this.
Thanks,
David

The whole distribution (all of it) fits on two blu-ray disk images.
If you can boot from a 32GB flash USB stick, you could use jigdo to
download the two blue-ray disk images, then dd them to the flash sticks.
Use the first one to boot the installer, with the second one plugged
into a spare USB slot, just incase you need it.
Would that work for you?

Hi everyone,
I am moving over from ubuntu to debian.
How many of the dvds would I need to have most of what I would need
for a desktop installation with orca?
There are 10 dvds I understand I don't need to get all of these.
I need to be able to install and use systems without internet
connection.
Server software such as apache, mysql and the like would be nice too.
Thanks for any info,
David
