it cannot be redirected to a soundcard.
however theres also another solution
it depends on motherboard and bios options.
with a help of a sighted person, i enabled "beep sound at boot installation" on my bios so whenever a boot screen comes up my computer amits a familiar beeping sound.

Probably too complex to do, but if a pc speaker isn't available could a
beep be redirected to a machine's default sound card?

Don't se how it could be done without sound drivers.
