I had this problem with a new Jessie setup.
I run a machine as home server and home automation controller. The
latter uses the common RFXCOM RfxTrx device for wireless communication.
It talks to the machine via USB and a FTDI chip that is affected by this
bug.
I do not need braille, so, as a workaround, I can remove brltty.
This is just a "heads up" that the bug does need resolving.
