Hi Paul,

according to the duktape website[1], one should use duktape by just pointing the own buildsystem to the sources (which are in duktape-dev and installed to /usr/share/duktape). As duktape is mostly used in embedded environments one probably needs an own duk_config.h and thus can not use a library anyways. However for something like edbrowse, a library would make sense, so please file a wishlist bug. Maybe you can also check whether edbrowse is fine with the default config?
