I have but the issue still exists.

I forget how to use gdb but I installed gdb and ran gdb /bin/console
(gdb) start

That's all I have on konsole.

If you want to tell me either on or off list how to give konsole a gdb
command that will help others fix the problem, I will be happy to try to
help.
