What do you mean exactly by "braille keys"? Do you mean the perkins keys, or all keys from the braille device? Also, which model of braille device is that? Probably it'd be useful to bring the question to the brltty mailing list, where Dave will not whether the BRLAPI_PARAM_RETAIN_DOTS parameter set by xbrlapi can actually work to get translated keys.
