I have uploaded a test image, could you give it a try from: https://people.debian.org/~sthibault/mini.iso There is indeed no beep at the grub menu, I guess arm machines don't have a speaker, only a sound card. The boot menu shortcuts behave like for the PC UEFI case: just press s, and that should be booting the installer with speech. Samuel
