BTW: Running a server doesn't mean you can't run X applications on it. You can 
login to it using SSH with X11 forwarding enabled, and every graphical program 
you start there will happily open its windows on your local PC's X server 
display.

So it may indeed make sense to install gnat-gps on it, too.
