Hi guys, I installed Alpha-Debian 2.2_rev0 in a new UP2000 machine. UP2000 is a dual Alpha processor, tsunami architecture. Kernel 2.2.17 that comes inside the installation does not support irq handling on tsunami machines, so I moved to 2.4.0-test7 which is working now in a Compaq ES40 machine (4 alpha processors !!). Well: while the ES40 works, the UP2000 hangs every time I access the network adapter. The message is something like: "kernel panic: skpur overflow" or "spinlock whatever...." or a big page of trace numbers, with some assembler code and tracing numbers... Somebody has a running UP2000 with Alpha-potato-debian installed ???
Thanks Stefano
