Hi,
I just installed Debian on AlphaServer 800 from stable distribution (vmlinuz-2.2.20-generic).
After upgrade to 2.4.18 I face a very strange thing. Any "shutdown -r", "reboot", or "halt" command turnes power off. I tried 2 images (config-2.4.18-1-generic and config-2.4.18-generic) with the same result.
SRM settings seem to be OK, because 2.2.20 works perfectly (even halt brings the system to SRM, does not power off).
