Looks a lot the message I get when I modprobe in the qlogicisp driver under a stock Debian kernel. See previous messages on the list about Debian specific changes to 'core_cia.c' giving people problems. If you want 2.6.7, why don't you try reverting the 'core_cia.c' changes (just replace the Debian kernel's 'arch/alpha/kernel/core_cia.c' file with a stock one from kernel.org) and doing a custom compilation. - -T PS: If that works (i.e. the module loads with out it crashing), but you then get play back looping, I have a patch. - -- Tyson Whitehead ([EMAIL PROTECTED] -- WSC-) Computer Engineer Dept. of Applied Mathematics, Graduate Student- Applied Mathematics University of Western Ontario, GnuPG Key ID# 0x8A2AB5D8 London, Ontario, Canada -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFA2HVmRXbLmIoqtdgRAs+mAKCLMjw4RrU8zs9Sc7p0+Tk+cMBrqQCg3ekl 5UQmOTG20eIYib5UffA3DTQ= =Snpi -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
