For tomcat on alpha either try SableVM, or CacaoJVM[1], or gij. As a Kaffe dev, I know that Kaffe is currently very fragile on alpha[3] :( If you run into bugs with SableVM or gij, please file bugs in the BTS. I'd suggest trying out cacao, as the cacao devs are actively hacking on a nice, fast jit for alpha, afaict.[2] If you need help setting up cacao on an alpha, please join the IRC channel #cacao on irc.freenode.net, twisti, one of the Cacao developers, has a tomcat instance running on an alpha under cacao. cheers, dalibor topic [1] www.cacaojvm.org [2] And they could use users, being a really nice & helpful bunch. :) [3] If you are interested in helping out with making kaffe run nice on alpha hop on the kaffe mailing list, [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
