Stop at SRM Prompt, boot into aboot with the Flag "-fl i" and give the boot command by hand adding a plain "1" at the end of the boot line to boot only until runlevel 1. In /etc/X11/default-display-manager you can comment out the starting line for your login manager. Like this you end up at the login prompt of getty.
