I just tried putting an iti-4280 in a AlphaServer and encountered the 
following problem.  The controller is configure with 5 disks on the A bus 
and 3 disks on the second bus.  From SRM I can see all 8 disks, but when 
Linux boots it creates 4 disk devices, two from the first bus and two from 
the second bus.  Does this make any sense?  When I put 7 of the disks on a 
single iti-4140, all seven are seen and the system boots just fine.  I 
would appreciate any insights.
