Hi Angelo,

I have one of these machines. It runs fine with NetBSD but will not run linux.
You will need to use a serial cable to talk to it until you get networking up. 
The keyboard and video are not supported by NetBSD (yet).
When using a serial cable you may need to use software flow control depending 
on your cable.
