I think you mean 'squeeze' here. :)  You reported that this was a problem
with 2.5.4-1, not 2.5.2-4; 2.5.4-1 is not in lenny.

Well, there doesn't appear to be any reason for an update to stable for
this.  If there were, a bug report against the package would be more
